The petitioner seeks bail in Makhdumpur P.S. Case No. 96 of 2015 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/5 of the Price Chits and Money Circulation Scheme (Banning) Act-1978.
Allegation against the petitioner is of cheating. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. It has been further submitted that the petitioner has not received any money. Similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by a co-ordinate bench of this Court vide order dated 28.01.2016 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 4019 of 2016, dated
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1541 of 2018(3) dt.07-02-2018 2/2 08.04.2016 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 7894 of 2016 and dated 20.05.2016 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 21522 of 2016. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 01.11.2017.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M. Jehanabad in connection with Makhdumpur P.S. Case No. 96 of 2015.
