By way of this writ application, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- (i) To issue an appropriate orders/directions including a writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding and direction upon the investigating officer of Kotwa P.S. Case No. 214 of 2022 to investigation the same registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of the

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1698 of 2024(7) dt.22-04-2025 2/2 Indian Penal Code against the petitioner thoroughly and properly in the manner provided under Code of Criminal Procedure.

(ii) To direct the Investigating Officer of this case to investigate the case thoroughly and properly and conclude the same with logical end followed by submission of charge-sheet/Final Form.

(iii) To direct the respondents to protect the life and property of the petitioner which is at the stake at the behest of local police authorities.

2. The petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the investigation but the case involves large number of documents etc. and the same cannot be investigated in a hurry.

3. Accordingly, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, East Champaran for redressal of his grievances.

4. The interim protection granted to the petitioner vide order dated 6.12.2024 is hereby vacated. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U
