2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Kankarbagh P.S. Case No. 194 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Section 69 of the BNS, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, as alleged in the FIR, is that the informant had been in a relationship with the son of the petitioners for the last four years. Thereafter, he allegedly refused to marry her. It is further alleged that they had solemnized their marriage in a temple at Varanasi and then,

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the main allegation is against Manibhushan, the son of petitioners and that the present petitioners have been falsely implicated merely because they are his parents. It is further submitted that the case arises out of a consensual relationship between two major adults. Learned counsel also submits that the informant was previously married and that the said marriage is still in existence. It is further submitted that accused Manibhushan has already been granted anticipatory bail by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 30.06.2026 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 37052 of 2026.
5. Learned APP opposes the prayer of bail.

Having considered the rival submissions, this Court finds that Manibhushan, against whom the main allegation of establishing a physical relationship on the false promise of marriage has been levelled, has already been granted anticipatory bail by this Court. It further appears that both the informant and Manibhushan are major persons and had been in a relationship for the last four years. As such, the relationship appears to have been consensual. The present petitioners are father and mother of the said Manibhushan, and no specific

Accordingly, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of this order, the petitioners shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned in connection with Kankarbagh P.S. Case No. 194 of 2026, subject to the conditions prescribed under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
