The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 293 of 2017 dated 12.09.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Fifty five litres of Nepali liquor was recovered from the auto-rickshaw of the petitioner. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 13.09.2017 and has not been made accused in any other case so far.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

The petitioner, above named is directed to be

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56769 of 2017 (2) dt.30-11-2017 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII-cum-Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 293 of 2017.
