This is an application for bail in connection with Hilsa P.S.Case No. 340 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 396 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the FIR and later on his name transpires in his self-confession and further it appears that he accused in large number of cases.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that except self confession there is nothing against the petitioner and he is in custody for nine months.

Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and in view of facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49399 of 2017 (3) dt.14-11-2017 2/2 the petitioner. Hence prayer for bail is rejected. However, since the petitioner is in jail for nine months, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) spal/- U
