Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 418, 419, 420, 465, 466, 467, 468, 469, 470, 208 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. Two FIR named persons appeared before the Patna High Court Administration for their joining on group-D post in the Patna High Court. The joining letters were found fake letters. Thereafter, FIR was lodged and in the statement of those persons, name of the petitioner transpired as carrying a racket for cheating the people in the name of appointment. The petitioner is in custody since 04.06.2017.

No.3238 of 2018 (2) dt.17-01-2018 2/2 Learned counsel for the Patna High Court opposed the prayer on the ground that a Coordinate Bench of this Court has refused bail to co-accused Md. Mojahib in Cr. Misc. No. 51082 of 2017 with direction to the trial court to expedite the trial and another Coordinate Bench has refused bail to Gautam Kumar Singh in Cr. Misc. No. 44260 of 2017 with liberty to renew prayer after framing of the charge.

Considering the period already undergone by the petitioner, in view of the nature of allegation, in my view, the petitioner deserves bail, hence, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kotwali Police Station Case No. 267 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
