Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ladaniya PS Case No. 219/2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) of the IPC.

The petitioner obtained appointment as a Panchayat teacher on the basis of forged and fabricated educational certificates/testimonials.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lady and has not committed any offence in the manner alleged. He next submits that the petitioner is in custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54970 of 2021(2) dt.18-05-2022 2/2 since 12.06.2021 and the charge-sheet has been submitted. The charge-sheet against the petitioner is based upon the documentary evidence and there is no likelihood that the petitioner will abscond or tamper with the evidences. Regards being had to the submissions made by the parties and taking into consideration that petitioner is a lady, she is in custody since 12.06.2021, the charge-sheet has been submitted and there is no likelihood that the petitioner will abscond or tamper with the evidences, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, let the petitioner, DHANMANTI DEVI be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Madhubani/the court concerned in connection with Ladaniya PS Case No. 219/2019.
