The petitioner has renew his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, the sister of the informant was killed within seventeen days of her marriage by this petitioner for nonfulfilment of the demand of dowry. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only for the reason of his being the husband. He is in custody since 1.1.2020. The deceased committed suicide and information was given by the petitioner himself to the members of his in-laws family.

No.54386 of 2021(4) dt.12-05-2022 2/2 The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State who submits that the postmortem examination report shows that the cause of death is asphyxia caused by strangulation and bruises were found on the body of the deceased.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation in the FIR, the petitioner being the husband of the deceased and the contents of the postmortem report, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
