JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 30-01-2018 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 5540 of 2017 arising out of Ara Town P.S. Case No. 533 of 2017 registered under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation in brief is that in total 198 litres foreign liquor was recovered from the house of petitioner's father. It is submitted that it's a joint house and several family members live in and the petitioner is in custody since 17.10.2017 having no criminal antecedent and police has submitted charge sheet.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Pramod Yadav is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1675 of 2018 (3) dt.30-01-2018 2/2 of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 4th Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Excise Case No. 5540 of 2017 arising out of Ara Town P.S.Case No. 533 of 2017.
