JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-07-2017 The present writ application has been filed by the wife of late Nand Kishore Pandey seeking direction on the respondents to pay the General Provident Fund (GPF) amount of Late Nand Kishore Pandey, a retired High School teacher, which was deducted from his salary and deposited in the government provident fund account.

2. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no.6 (District Provident Fund Officer, Muzaffarpur) wherein it is stated that after receiving the statement of subscription of the petitioner, an authority slip for Rs.9,52,293/- under the head GPF has been issued in favour of the petitioner. It is stated that the entire amount of GPF has been paid with up-todate statutory interest and there is no payment due.
