The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barahiya P.S. Case No. 54/2017 dated 18.03.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 38(i), 38 (ii) and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Around 26 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor is alleged to have been recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 10.10.2017 and he has been made accused in two other cases apart from the present case, in which he is on bail. Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like
