JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-09-2015 The petitioner along with others vide demand notice dated 1.8.2011 of the BDO, Sono has been directed to pay the value of undistributed rice allotted to them under SGRY. The petitioner submits that the notice is vague as it does not indicate the quantity allotted to the petitioner nor it is indicating the quantity that has remained undistributed. I find by a general notice, about 20 dealers have been directed to deposit the value of undistributed rice. I further find that the petitioner has already deposited a sum of Rs.30,000/- pursuant to the general direction.

The writ petition is allowed and the impugned order so far as the petitioner is concerned is set aside with liberty to the respondents to proceed in accordance with law. (Samarendra Pratap Singh, J) Shashi.
