The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S.Case No.358 of 2017 registered for an offence under Sections 353, 307 and 334/34 of the IPC.

The case has been registered on the basis of report of the police officer. It is alleged that this petitioner and two others while going in a vehicle was chased by the police. One of the coaccused Sikandar Yadav apprehending arrest shot firing which did not hit anybody. The said Sikandar Yadav has been allowed bail by one of the coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr.Misc.No.61845 of 2017. This petitioner was allegedly sitting in the said vehicle and the petitioner is in custody since 04.09.2017. The learned APP opposed the submissions.
