2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 04.04.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22145 of 2024.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 04.04.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22145 of 2024, by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48149 of 2025(2) dt.18-07-2025 2/2 each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Muzaffarpur in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 26 of 2023, subject to conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, but due to inadvertence on the part of the office of the counsel, the said order could not be communicated to the petitioner, as a result of which, the petitioner could not furnish the bail bonds before the Court below within the stipulated time.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bond of the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 04.04.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22145 of 2024 be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

6. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 04.04.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22145 of 2024 is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) shivam/- U T
