2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Goraul (Kathara O.P.) P.S. Case No. 52 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 304(B), 120(B) and 201/34 of the I.P.C. lodged on 12.02.2023 by the informant, Pramila Devi.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that the deceased was married to the petitioner in the year 2018 but was always tortured for dowry. She was locked in the room and was not even given the food despite the fact that all the demands were earlier fulfilled. Further, the allegation is that on 31.12.2022, she got information about her death as also disappearance of the body and when they reached, all of them were found absent. Accordingly, the FIR

4. Though, learned counsel for the petitioner tried to

No.49322 of 2024(2) dt.09-08-2024 2/2 impress this Court by submitting that there has been delay in filing of the FIR, learned APP Mr. Bharat Bhushan submits that being the husband, the occurrence is of 31.12.2022, according to him, FIR was filed a month later, still he took one and a half year to come to this Court for grant of anticipatory bail.

5. This Court finds force in the submission put forward by learned APP, in the facts and circumstance it would be appropriate that he seek bail.

6. The present anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
