Patna High Court MJC No.4095 of 2016 (9) dt.26-06-2018 2/2 been filed, in which vide Annexure E to the show cause, it appears that the petitioners' case has been dealt with by the authorities and disposed of on 20.02.2017 in terms of the order dated 28.06.2016 passed in CWJC No.2303 of 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioners, however, submits that it is only when the petitioners have started claiming their compensation under the Right to Fair Compensation and Resettlement Act, 2013, the authorities have resorted to consider their cases in the light of the Bihar Raiyati Land Lease Policy, 2014. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the lands have been acquired much earlier and, therefore, such application of law, which came subsequently, is wholly defeating in letter and spirit the orders passed by this Court. Be that as it may, since the petitioners' case has been given due consideration, if at all the petitioners are aggrieved by the same, it will be open to them to take appropriate recourse, as may be tenable under law.
As such, the present contempt application is disposed of with the liberty aforementioned.
