JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 13-03-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 21C/22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Though allegation is that cough syrup containing codeine was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 16.10.2017 and investigation is already complete.

In the circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.268 of 2018 (3) dt.13-03-2018 where the case is pending in connection with Jogbani Police Station Case No.166 of 2017, corresponding to Special Case No.27 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
