The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Purshottampur P. S. Case No. 44 of 2020, dated 08.06.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 379, 307, 354(b), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41157 of 2020(2) dt.22-06-2021 2/3 According to the F.I.R., an occurrence took place over a dispute on the flow of the rain water. It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that the accused persons assaulted the informant and other members of the family.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that there is a counter version of the occurrence as well. The injuries suffered by almost all the victims are reported to be simple in nature. The petitioner nos. 1 and 2 are ladies and none of the petitioners have any criminal antecedents Considering the background facts and the circumstances under which the occurrence took place, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the
