Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is a young man aged about 25 years and the informant alleges that she came to know at her parental home that her husband was strangulated to death by his named agnates in the FIR on account of dispute relating to land on 15-12-2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR. It is next submitted that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42971 of 2025(2) dt.16-07-2025 2/3 informant is not an eyewitness to the occurrence and the name of the petitioner transpired during the course of investigation. It is also submitted that during the course of investigation, it transpired that the husband of the informant died on account of consuming spurious liquor. It is next submitted that similarly situated co-accused Neeraj Kumar had approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc No. 63671 of 2024 and the same was allowed by an order dated 12-2-2025. It is further submitted that Gopal Singh and Chanda Devi, who are named in the FIR, had also approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc No. 32383 of 2024 and the same was also allowed by an order dated 20-7-2024 (AnnexureP/2 series). 5.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case
