The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No.300 of 2017, registered for offences alleged under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though the petitioner is named in the FIR and three cases are on his head by way of criminal history as stated in paragraph 3 of the bail application, he may be enlarged on bail considering the fact that the informant has now entered into a compromise. Learned APP representing the State submits that this petitioner seems to be a habitual offender inasmuch as all the cases

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.327 of 2018 (2) dt.15-01-2018 pending against him are under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is named in the FIR and has been duly identified by the informant.

In the facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No.300 of 2017 pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Supaul is rejected.

The application is dismissed.
