2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 498A, 323, 302, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, daughter of informant was married with co-accused Sudhir Prasad about 14-15 years ago and it is alleged that she was subjected to torture and cruelty by the all the accused persons including this petitioner for dowry and lastly on 18.06.2024, the informant got an information that her daughter has fallen from the roof and died. Informant suspects that all the FIR named accused persons have committed murder of her daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation. Thrust of the accusation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in custody. As a matter of fact, the deceased died due to fall from roof of the house. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the family affairs of deceased and her husband. Petitioner has got clean antecedent and is in custody since 27.11.2024. Chargesheet has been submitted.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail petition.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as period of custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda, Biharsharif in connection with Deepnagar P.S. Case No. 206 of 2024.
