2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case No. 152 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 363, 366A, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 12 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have abducted the victim girl, who is a minor, taken her to Deoghar and forcibly established sexual relation with her.

4. It has been argued by the learned counsel for the petitioner Shri Ajit Kumar that the petitioner is the brother-inlaw (Bahnoi) of the victim girl and the matter has been settled between them.

5. The petitioner is in custody since 20.04.2024.

6. Considering the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

8. The trial of the petitioner is directed to be expedited.
