2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for modification of the order dated 14.6.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 3536 of 2022, whereby while granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Mirganj P.S., Case No. 248/2021, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks.

3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the information regarding grant of anticipatory bail could not be communicated to the petitioner on time due to his illness and accordingly, the period of surrender has expired. Hence, the petitioner prays for extension of surrender period.

4. It appears from order dated 14.6.2022, that petitioner was granted anticipatory bail and he did not comply with the order for more two years.

5. In view of the causal approach adopted by the petitioner in complying with the order of this Court and there is gross negligence of filing bail bonds, I am not inclined to grant further extension of period for surrender.

6. Accordingly, modification application stands rejected.
