2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, marriage of daughter of informant was solemnized with this petitioner in the year 1999 as per Hindu rites and rituals. It is alleged that after marriage, all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, committed torture and harassment with the victim and later on, killed her.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47309 of 2025(3) dt.01-12-2025 2/3 Informant is not an eye witness of the occurrence and only suspicion has been raised against this petitioner. Petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case merely because he happens to be husband of the deceased. Moreover, charge-sheet has already been submitted and petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2025. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedents.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State ahas vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he, along with other accused persons, used to commit torture and harassment with the victim and committed her murder to solemnize second marriage. The deceased died an unnatural death at her matrimonial house. As per injury report, multiple injuries were found and the deceased died due to Hypovolumix shock leading to Cardio-respiratory arrest.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation, gravity of offence and materials that have surfaced during course of investigation, the prayer for grant bail of to the petitioner is rejected.
7. However, considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2025, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a
