2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sariaya P.S. Case No. 10/2022 dated 04.01.2022 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 307, 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, on 04.01.2022, at about 02:45 pm, six unknown miscreants looted Punjab National Bank, Bashantpur Patti Branch by wrongfully confining the Bank's staff on gun point and, thereafter fled away with the looted money.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The name of the petitioner has sprung up in the confessional statement of the co-accused Vikash Kumar. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Similarly situated coaccused has already been granted bail by the co-ordinate bench of this court vide order dated 23.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 25842 of 2023. The petitioner has two criminal antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 12.03.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, West Muzaffarpur in connection with Sariaya P.S. Case No. 10/2022, with the condition/s:- (i). The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42512 of 2025(2) dt.13-10-2025 3/3 failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bond of the petitioner is liable to be cancelled.
