JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 22-06-2021 Heard Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jha, the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Banmankhi P. S. Case No.191 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
Three persons including the petitioner asked for the mobile telephone from the informant for making an emergency call, but later made an attempt to run away with that mobile phone.
However, one of the miscreants was nabbed by the informant, who disclosed his name as Aditya Kumar. He disclosed before the police that the petitioner and another were his companions.

No.40684 of 2020(2) dt.22-06-2021 2/2 Regard being had to the aforesaid facts and taking into account that the petitioner is a student and is preparing for competitive examination, the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1, Purnea in connection with Banmankhi P. S. Case No.191 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
The application stands allowed.
