Petitioner is in custody in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No. 114 of 2018 for the offence under section 20, 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the instant case it is alleged that 56.400 kgs. of Ganja was seized from a car. Four persons were apprehended and the name of the petitioner appears on the confessional statement of the coaccused. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 11.1.2019.
