1. Heard Mr.Sanjeev Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Binod Kumar No.3, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 160 of 2025 dated 09.04.2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 137(2), 140(1) read with Section 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner has fair and clean antecedent and languishing in jail since 10.04.2025, the instant matter relates to the abduction of the informant's son Anshu Kumar by one, Ravi Kumar Verma and his 4-5 friends, the said victim has been recovered and he has recorded his statement under Section 183 of the BNSS, in which he did not reveal the name of the petitioner as being involved despite this fact that the petitioner is already known to the victim as he is the resident of same mohalla of the victim, in fact, the daughter and the niece of the co-accused Ravi Kumar Verma have been kidnapped by someone, due to this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43606 of 2025(2) dt.18-07-2025 2/2 reason, the said Ravi Kumar Verma might have abducted the informant's son and further, the petitioner had no reason to be involved with Ravi Kumar Verma and other co-accused persons in the alleged occurrence.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner but fairly accepts that in the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS, there is no allegation against this petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions and mainly the petitioner's fair and clean antecedent, young age and his custody period as well as completion of investigation against him, this court is inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 160 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
