2. The present petition has been preferred for the: issuance of an appropriate, writ order or direction directing the respondents concern (The

Patna High Court CWJC No.10249 of 2023(2) dt.30-04-2024 2/3 Collector or the Addl. Collector) to dispose of the Land Settlement Case No. 01/2015-16 in which the petitioners have appeared and submitted his show cause but reason based known to the authority the case is pending since last eight years and the petitioner who one purchases and Jamabandi is existing their name are facing trouble.

3. At the outset, learned State Counsel pointed out that though the petitioner want direction against the Katihar Municipal Corporation, the same has not been impleaded as party-respondent.

4. In that background, learned Senior Counsel submits that the petitioner has now limited its prayer inasmuch as the Municipal Corporation, Katihar has approached the Circle Officer, Katihar in Land Settlement Case No. 01 of 2015-16 in which the petitioner will be appearing before the said authority but the same is pending since last nine years.

5. In that background, granting liberty to the petitioner to appear before the Revenue Authority who shall see to it that as matter is of 2015-16, it is concluded at an earliest.

6. This Court observes that the concerned Revenue Authority must take into account that nine years have been

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
