Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects within four weeks. In the eventuality of nonremoval of defects within undertaken period, the office will place the matter before the Bench.

The present application has been filed for modification of order dated 18.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9573 of 2020 to the extent of extending the period of surrender. On the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the period of surrender is extended by six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No. 467 of 2019, pending in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45446 of 2022(2) dt.31-08-2022 2/2 the Court learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur subject to deposit of sum of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) in the Victim Compensation Fund.

The order dated 18.06.2020 is modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
