JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-09-2015 The petitioner prays to quash order dated 3.7.2013 by which his PDS licence no.208/07 has been cancelled by respondent no.2.

The petitioner submits that the show cause itself is defective as it does not mention the proposed punishment. Counsel for the State submits that serious allegations have been leveled against the petitioner.

Submission of the petitioner has substance. The impugned order is quashed on this technical ground with liberty to respondent no.2 to proceed in the matter after issuing fresh show cause to the petitioner.

There would be no resumption of supply till final order is passed in the matter.
