The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Madaura P.S. Case No. 538 of 2018, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 395, 307, 353, 337, 338 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39660 of 2020(2) dt.08-06-2021 2/3 An objection was raised by many people against the arrest of the petitioner and one Kishu Kumar. Later, the petitioner and the aforsaid Kishu Kumar were released from the police custody.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that a protest was raised because of the whimsical action of the police and the misbehaviour shown to the detainees, one of them being the petitioner. For no apparent good reason, the petitioner was taken into custody along with another. It has further been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he was returning from the railway station after seeing off one of his relatives.

The petitioner also does not have any criminal antecedents.

Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to
