JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 22-02-2021 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Saharsa Sadar P.S. Case No. 926 of 2019 for the offence under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently, charge sheet has been submitted under Sections 395, 412 and 120B of the IPC. Having regard to the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected.

However, the court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
