The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hajipur Excise P.S. Case No. 354 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a)/32(i)/32(3)/41(i)/41(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

As per the prosecution case, 300 litres of illicit liqour has been recovered from a tempo.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 25.11.2022.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45620 of 2023(2) dt.04-08-2023 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court (second)-cumAdditional District and Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Excise P.S. Case No. 354 of 2022. The petitioner will visit Gangabridge Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
