The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief/s:- "a) For a direction upon the respondent Bihar Public Service Commission to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Lecturer (Zoology Group) pursuant to Advt.

No.02/2016 and recommend the name of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16382 of 2021(8) dt.10-09-2024 2/2 petitioner for the said post as the petitioner is eligible and qualified for the same.

b) To hold and declare that the petitioner is eligible for the post of Lecturer (Zoology Group) pursuant to Advt.

No.02/2016 as she possessed requisite qualification on and before the cut-off date proposed in the said advertisement.

c) To pass any other order/orders in shape of a consequential relief to which the petitioner may be found to be legally entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the instant case at hand."

A counter-affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondentBPSC and it is stated at para-24 that petitioner obtained total 60.883 marks which is lesser than the cut-off marks i.e. 68.770 in her category i.e. Backward Class (05) category and 68.500 in Backward Class Lady (06) Category under Advt. No.02/2016. 4.
