The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Abadpur P.S. Case No. 01 of 2020 registered under Sections 498 (A), 406, 384 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is general and omnibus allegation against him.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.501 of 2021(5) dt.17-12-2021 2/2 petitioner is the husband of the opposite party no. 2. Further submission is that there is allegation of torture and demand of dowry against the petitioner. Hence, this is not a fit case of anticipatory bail.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner is rejected. utkarsh/- (Arvind Srivastava, J) U T
