JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 24-07-2021 Heard Mr. Arjun Prasad, the learned Advocate for the petitioners and the learned APP for the State. The petitioners, who are the parents-in-law of the informant, seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Bakhri P.S. Case No. 339 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 498(A), 509 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are old couple who have got no control over the affairs of their son or his wife, who is the informant of this case. As far as their understanding goes, their daughter-in-

In fact, the petitioners have advised their son to settle the dispute with his wife. The petitioners, it has been urged, are even today ready for facilitating the process of resumption of conjugal relationship between their son and his wife. Regard being had to the facts afore-stated and taking into account the advanced age of the petitioners, they, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Bakhri P.S. Case No. 339 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. The application stands allowed.
