2. The petitioner seeks bail in a Bangra P.S. Case no. 154/2024, registered for offence under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 115(2), 126(2), 118(1), 121(1), 121(2), 125,125(A), 125(B), 49, 109(1), 303(2), 324(4), 317(2) and 61(2) of the B.N.S..
3 . As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner, along with other accused persons named in the F.I.R. and about 150 unknown miscreants, abused and assaulted police personnel as a result of which some of them sustained injuries and also obstructed them from discharging their official duties.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45716 of 2025(2) dt.22-08-2025 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged. Petitioner has been made accused in this case only on the basis of suspicion . Allegation is general and omnibus against this petitioner. No specific overt act is alleged against him. Petitioner is in custody since 06.05.2025 . Chargesheet has already been submitted.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail petition.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts, period of custody and circumstances of the case , let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Samastipur in connection with Bangra P.S.
