JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-08-2022 The controversy in the present case has boiled down to a prayer being made by the petitioner for disposal of his representation dated 05.02.2018, which is Annexure-4 to the writ petition, by the Regional Passport Officer, D'Block, Maurya Lok Complex, Patna, to which the learned Additional Solicitor General, Union of India Shri K.N. Singh, assisted by Mr. Ravindra Kr. Sharma, Central Government Counsel,has got no objection.

In the opinion of this Court, it goes without saying that if any representation/appropriate petition is filed before any authority, the same is required to be considered, in accordance with law and disposed off expeditiously. In such view of the matter, the Regional Passport Officer,

Patna High Court CWJC No.6146 of 2018(3) dt.02-08-2022 2/2 D'Block, Maurya Lok Complex, Patna is directed to consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 05.02.2018 and take a final decision within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
