JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 11-08-2015 In the present application filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India the petitioner seeks quashing of the First Information Report of Narpatganj (Basmatiya) P.S.Case No.409 of 2014 dated 14.10.2014 registered under section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003.

The allegations made in the First Information do constitute a cognizable offence.

In that view of the matter, I find no merit in the application. It is accordingly dismissed.
