Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the statement made in para 6 of the counter affidavit to the effect that the petitioner's PDS licence was valid upto 31.12.2006, the present writ petition is not being pressed as the petitioner would seek renewal of the PDS licence before the concerned authority.
