The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rivilganj P.S. Case No. 65 of 2016 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(A) of the Excise Act. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though seizure of certain quantity of illicit liquor is alleged to have been made from the grocery shop of the petitioner situated in village Godna Mathiya, P.S.- Rivilganj, District- Saran, the seizure list contains police station case number which fact would make it evident that the seizure list was prepared after institution of the FIR in the police station.
Be that as it may, regard being had to the nature of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21690 of 2016 (2) dt.19-05-2016 2/2 allegation and the period already undergone in custody by the petitioner, namely, Ravindra Giri @ Ramendra Giri, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 8th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Rivilganj P.S. Case No.65 of 2016.
