2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 384, 386 and some other ancillary Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with other accused person assaulted the informant with fists and slaps and also demanded ransom. It is further alleged that the accused persons snatched Rs. 15,000/- from the pocket of informant.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case. It is further submitted that allegation of assault is general and omnibus.

5. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48068 of 2023(2) dt.22-08-2023 2/2 the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that petitioner has got criminal antecedent of three cases.

6. Considering the facts of the case, nature of accusation and criminal antecedent of petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on pre arrest bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
