The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Kasba P.S. Case No. 298 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. As per allegation in the FIR, four accused persons on two motorcycles are said to have robbed the informant's mobile phone, bag and other articles on pistol point. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that FIR was registered against unknown and the petitioner was remanded in this case on the basis of his confessional statement. Neither any incriminating article has been recovered from his possession nor has the petitioner been put on Test Identification Parade. The petitioner is in custody since 15.04.2019.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Purnea in connection with Kasba P.S.
