The petitioner seeks bail in Sasaram (Agrer) P.S. no. 1136/13 registered under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal code.
Prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 19.01.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. 2200/2015 with a direction to the trial court to make efforts for conclusion of trial within a period of one year from the date of receipt of this order. It is submitted that the trial has not been concluded. The report of the 7th Additional District & Sessions Judge, Rohtas at Sasaram shows that all the prosecution witnesses have already been examined except the Investigating Officer and the doctor and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22589 of 2016 (3) dt.09-11-2016 2/2 the case is likely to be concluded by the end of January, 2017. There is allegation against the petitioner that he pierced Knife in the abdomen of Sanjay Kumar Singh who died on the spot. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Vinita/- U T
