Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defect(s), as pointed out by the office, within a period of four weeks.
Petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Chautarwa P.S. Case No.162 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner alongwith other in-laws of the deceased are said to have killed her for non-fulfillment of demand of additional dowry.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is submitted that there

It is further submitted that the petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased. The husband of the petitioner is already in judicial custody as stated in paragraph-12 of the bail petition. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
Considering the facts that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and the husband of the deceased is already in judicial custody, let petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 1st, Bagaha, West Champaran in connection with Chautarwa P.S. Case No.162 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
