2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1328 of 2024 for offences under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, it is a case of matrimonial dispute.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. He further submits that vide order dated 10.11.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42024 of 2025, the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for exploring the possibility of an amicable settlement of the dispute between the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47300 of 2025(5) dt.19-02-2026 2/2 parties. He further submits that the mediation has been successful, and the parties have entered into a compromise. He further submits that the petitioner is the mother-in-law of the complainant, and the husband of the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 24.12.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42024 of 2025.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this application for anticipatory bail stands allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari/concerned Court below in connection with Complaint Case No. 1328 of 2024 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
