The only grievance of the petitioner is that the matter concerning payment of compensation pursuant to acquisition of land vide L.A. Case No. 73 of 2011-12 is pending consideration before the Competent Authority-cum-District Land Acquisition Officer. Mr. Jha, Counsel for the petitioner has contended that pursuant to notice dated 19.8.2014 (Annexure-2/1), the petitioner as well as the other claimants has already appeared and filed their claims. The matter is lingering before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna. It has, therefore, been submitted that the writ application be disposed of by directing the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna (respondent no.

3) to expedite the disposal of the proceeding. Learned A.C. to A.G. for the State, appreciating the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2612 of 2015 dt.11-02-2015 pleadings made in the application and the stand taken by the petitioner, has not objected to such prayer.

Having heard the parties, the writ application is disposed of by directing the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna (respondent no. 3) to dispose of the claim of the parties filed pursuant to notice dated 19.8.2014 issued in L.A. Case No. 73 of 2011-12 as quickly as possible preferably within two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
