The petitioner upon being superannuated from the post of Executive Engineer on 03.12.2021, in pursuant to Advertisement No.7478 dated 03.08.2022, applied for his reengagement on the post of District Quality Monitor. On being re-engaged as District Quality Monitor, he further took the charge of Gaya District Engineer and discharged his duty to the entire satisfaction of the authorities concerned, but nonetheless he has been allowed his outstanding salary for different months, which has been categorically stated in para-17 of the writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.10729 of 2025(2) dt.15-07-2025 2/2 petition. For redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has also approached before the respondents no.5 and 6 but to no respite, compelling him to approach before this Court.

Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, this Court deems it fit and appropriate to dispose off the writ petition with a direction to the respondents no.5 and 6 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 29.04.2025 (Annexure-P/10) and 24.05.2025 (Annexure-P/11) filed for payment of salary for certain periods, preferably within a period of twelve weeks' from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and ensure payment, as admissible in accordance with law.

4. Suffice it to observe that the petitioner is a retired person and in the evening of his life; hence, it is expected that the respondent authorities shall adhere to the period stipulated hereinabove.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
