This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Sono P.S. Case No. 70 of 2020 (G.R. No.839 of 2020) for the offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The only evidence against the petitioner is the confessional statement of co-accused. There is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner and the petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

Considering the aforesaid, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st
